Hello Kenny families and friends! Welcome to the 2026-2027 after school program!

About Community Ed. Afterschool:

The MPS Community Education Department offers enrichment classes for K-5 youth at Kenny on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:00-5:30pm. Classes run in 3 sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring) from October through May.

On Tuesday mornings, the 2nd-5th grade Kenny Chess Club meets from 8:15-9:15am in the media center.

Typical afternoon schedule:

  • 4:00-4:15pm    Attendance and snack in the lunchroom

  • 4:15-5:30pm    Class

  • 5:30pm             Transition to dismissal

  • 5:35-5:45pm   Dismissal (Door 1)

Registration for the fall session opens on Monday, September 21st and closes on Monday, September 28th. Fall session runs from October 20th-December 17th.
